Maurice Tougas - Kim Griffith

Maurice Tougas is a veteran reporter, editor and journalist with 30 years experience. He was editor of the Edmonton Examiner weekly newspaper for more than 15 years, and as a freelancer has written for many newspapers and magazines in his home province of Alberta. He was twice named Best Columnist of the Year by the Canadian Community Newspaper Association, and he has won two Edward Dunlop awards from Sun Media. Maurice was also a Member of the Alberta Legislature for 3 1/2 years, giving him a unique insight into Canadian politics. Maurice is a movie and television buff, is a student of Canadian and 20th century American history, and enjoys sports, particularly Canadian football.
